Job Overview

Driving an exceptional and consistent employee experience including an exceptional employee value proposition are key to building a high performing culture and great place to work.  Working under minimal supervision, the Talent Management Specialist will collaborate with the Manager, Talent Management to deploy innovative talent management programs that accelerate a high performing culture. The Talent Management Specialist will be encouraged to think outside-the-box, empowered to drive excellence and inspire change.


Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver specific Talent Management initiatives including:
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, external consultants and vendors in the process.
    • participate in meetings and obtain buy-in.
    • Monitor timelines and roll-out plans.
    • Coordinate and deliver appropriate training on new processes and programs.
  • Monitor the performance management program and processes, including ensuring effective application of process, program administration and logistics to ensure a consistent and value-add process that enables a high performing culture.
  • Support and advance developed Inclusion and Diversity strategies and create an inclusive culture throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Monitor the deployment, communication and change management of Talent Management initiatives to ensure delivery of an exceptional employee experience and employee value proposition.  
  • Act as a coach/consultant to provide HR business partners and other stakeholders with guidance on Talent Management programs and practices as appropriate.
  • Seek out best practices and innovative solutions that ensure continuous improvement and an exceptional employee experience; as well as stay abreast of current trends and technologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience working extensively with human resources functions, inclusive of talent management.
  • Working towards CPHR would be considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to proactively work with all levels of management and employees and foster positive working relations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong desire to learn and improve continuously, keeping abreast of developments in field and applying learnings to work situations.
  • Sound change management skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a changing environment.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills, with the proven ability to prioritize, handle multiple assignments, work accurately within tight timelines and interact collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with survey tools preferred.
