Job Overview

The Senior HRBP partners with senior leaders and business teams to integrate HR solutions and expertise into business strategies and objectives.

The role is accountable for working with senior leaders and our Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver effective HR solutions and expertise that enable our business strategies. This role supports enterprise-wide initiatives and facilitates the development of culture to enable a productive, diverse and engaged workforce, comprised of the best talent available.


Job Responsibilities

  • Build trusted partnerships with senior business leaders to understand, identify and prioritize business requirements to build organizational capabilities and provide business voice and context to HR in order to ensure that requirements are acted upon effectively and tailored solutions are delivered to solve the business needs. 
  • Monitor trends in employment practices and coach business leaders on employee relations and matters as appropriate to enable them to deal with issues more effectively.
  • Develop and champion HR initiatives that improve business performance through people and coordinate with the senior business leaders to ensure effective implementation of the recommendations.
  • Consult with senior business leaders in workforce planning and managing their talent pipeline and succession plan in order to enable them to take appropriate action via internal or external recruitments or developmental trainings in order to achieve their targets.
  • In partnership with senior business leaders identify leadership development opportunities with emphasis on identification of key positions essential for achieving strategic aims and monitor talent attrition to enable business units in having requisite workforce to achieve business goals.
  • Champion and facilitate the performance management, calibration sessions, succession planning and talent reviews etc. in order to meet business requirements
  • Review and recommend initiatives for organizational effectiveness including organization structures for respective functions, performance effectiveness etc. in order to facilitate their implementation and to ensure alignment with the strategy, best practices, businesses needs and regulatory guidelines.
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international leading practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Be a coach and mentor the HR Business Partner team.


  • Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent and/or PHR/CPHR preferred
  • Ideally, a minimum 5 years of relevant and progressive experience in HR or related function.
  • Solid understanding of the business, HR technical knowledge
  • Proven experience building exceptional partnerships and working strategically with senior business leaders to gain an in-depth understanding of the business strategy, our customers and how these link to Talent & HR strategy.
  • Strategic capability and the ability to identify, resources, and skills that create a long-term competitive advantage for an organization.
  • Visionary leader with the demonstrated capability to helps others to see how they can contribute an overall shared vision
  • Consultative style and trusted advisor who can effectively influence, coach and consult with senior leaders.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to effectively deliver presentations, facilitation and coaching/training.
  • Can take a stand and can effectively demonstrate courage by delivering tough feedback and making decisions
  • Self-starter who thrives in a changing, fast-paced environment, with a proven ability to drive for results.
  • Continuous learner with significant knowledge of HR policies, people processes talent management practices and employment law.
