The salary offered for this role is determined with consideration to various factors, including but not limited to: your work location, local labour market conditions, external market salary data, internal pay equity and the knowledge, skills, experience and anticipated proficiency in the role. The salary offered is estimated to be within the following range: $43,000 - $53,000.

Job Overview

The Annuities Services Representative plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to our annuity clients and advisors. In this role, they will respond to inquiries, process transactions, issue new annuity contracts, and support claim handling while ensuring a superior customer experience that drives strong client retention. Working with minimal supervision, the role brings empathy, accuracy, and problem‑solving skills to every interaction.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for annuity inquiries via phone and email.
  • Respond to incoming calls as part of the Call Centre team.
  • Process a wide range of annuity transactions, including new contract setup, withdrawals, fund rebalancing and death claim documentation.
  • Provide clients with clear guidance and available retirement options when their contracts reach maturity.
  • Ensure all activities and documentation meet regulatory, audit, and company compliance standards.
  • Identify and report system issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in an administrative or customer service capacity in an office environment.
  • Knowledge of RRSP, LIRA, RRIF, non-registered products and life annuities.
  • Ability to apply product knowledge to client inquiries and annuity administration tasks.
  • Excellent prioritization, time and deadline management while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at the right level for the audience, including by telephone.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and independence finding information.
  • Demonstrated strict confidentiality and adherence to all privacy and information‑security policies.
  • Willing to enroll in or actively pursuing the ACS and/or ALMI designation.
  • Experience within an investment-related role is an asset.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
