Job Overview

Working under general supervision, the Facilities Operations Support works to support Wawanesa’s Corporate Facilities success by ensuring all mailroom, administrative, and reception functions are carried out in a timely and courteous manner.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Support Corporate Facilities Department with a variety of mail, administrative, and reception tasks.
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Support Corporate technology process to execute mail, administrative and reception tasks.
  • Responsible to carry out additional special projects as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required. 
  • Successful completion of related post-secondary education considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 year’s generalized mail or administrative experience
  • Intermediate understanding of computers, scanners and other office equipment and proficiency with MS Office software including Word and Excel
  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management abilities
  • Ability to work in a team and demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Adapts behavior to meet the demands of a changing environment; demonstrates stability of performance under pressure and/or opposition.
