Working Business Language: Bilingual in French and English. This role requires regular interaction with members in New Brunswick where the business languages utilized are both English and French. As such, the successful candidate must be fully proficient in English and French.

The salary offered for this role is determined with consideration to various factors, including but not limited to: your work location, local labour market conditions, external market salary data, internal pay equity and the knowledge, skills, experience and anticipated proficiency in the role. The salary offered is estimated to be within the following range: $53,000 - $65,000 Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are still encouraged to apply.

Job Overview
As a Bilingual Claims Adjuster 2, Auto Physical Damage, you will help deliver a fair, consistent, and supportive claims experience for our members. In this role, you will manage moderate to high-complexity auto physical damage claims from initial report through resolution, applying and explaining policy coverages, maintaining accurate claim documentation, and providing timely, proactive service throughout the claims process.
Job Responsibilities
- Guide members through the claims process with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
- Provide timely, proactive communication by phone, digital channels, and written correspondence.
- Adjust moderate to high-complexity auto physical damage claims accurately, efficiently, and in line with established standards.
- Review policy wordings, assess coverage, and clearly communicate coverage decisions to members.
- Set and maintain accurate loss and expense reserves using information from appraisers, adjusters, repair facilities, and other sources.
- Investigate claims to determine coverage and liability, following adjusting guidelines and engaging internal or external resources as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and business partners, including appraisers, rental companies, repair facilities, and internal teams.
- Negotiate and communicate claim settlements within authority limits while maintaining a strong member experience.
- Maintain accurate diary management and claim file documentation in line with procedures and standards.
- Stay current on legislative changes, provincial requirements, and industry trends to support compliant claim handling.
- Support catastrophe response plans, including claims outside the regular service area when required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience adjusting insurance claims.
- 2+ years of direct auto claims adjusting experience.
- Working toward a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
- Active Adjuster license for New Brunswick and PEI.
- Full professional fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
