Job Overview
Under general direction and supervision of the Supervisor, Group Insurance – New Business, the Group Implementation Administrator is responsible for the administrative support for the Group Onboarding team by interacting with internal stakeholders on a daily basis (external stakeholder on occasion).
Job responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the new business onboarding process and team.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders regularly with some communication required with external stakeholders.
- Assign Group Implementation to team members.
- Respond to general Onboarding inquiries from other departments and branch offices.
- Create required files, folders and other documentation required.
- Meet company service standards by maintaining tasks on our tracking tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of Group Insurance experience.
- Post-secondary education in a related field would be considered an asset.
- Complete or actively pursuing BGA or CEBS designation considered an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to review information carefully and comprehensively.
- Strong organization and time management skills, including the ability to manage and execute tasks independently within required timelines and expectations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders as well as external as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to develop quality standards.
